My experiences with cookware set
Ceramic cookware is currently one of the best sets in online and retailer stores right now, particularly because of their non-stick behavior and durable coating. Impressed by hand-ons and reviews from cookwithtina.com, I decided to buy one from a store near my house. I got a set by WearEver, as it was the most trending one in my area. I did not bother to search the internet, but thank God I got a good one, or everything would’ve been a waste of money. Today, I’ll be sharing all my experiences with it so you can make a choice of whether you want to buy it or not. Now before I start, the set I’ll be talking about is the “WearEver C943SF Pure Living Nonstick Ceramic Coating Scratch Resistant PTFE PFOA and Cadmium Free Dishwasher Safe Oven Safe Cookware set, 15-Piece”, so let’s start!
The set only comes in Red color, which was actually good for me since I have a black cooktop and green granite slab, so it perfectly complemented it. The set looks slick and shiny, particularly because of the ceramic coating. The set came in a box with an instruction manual, which was pretty important for the longevity of the set. Let’s talk about the performance.
The pans were extremely light, and were had a really good non-stick coating. To test that, I cooked an omelet, and to my expectation, it did not stick. Due to this behavior, the pan was also easy to clean, and for those who are lazy, it is also dishwasher safe, so feel free to throw it into the washer after use. As directed in the manual, I did not use any soap, and cooked the food with bamboo sticks and spoons. So far, I have been using it for 4 years, and am planning to use it until it breaks.
The only drawbacks I faced was that the pan’s seasoning got chipped, and due to that, I couldn’t use it for any other task, as the food got stuck on the particular area. Also, the handles tend to get super hot when used on high heat settings, but I remedied that by using the pans and pots on medium to low flame, and waited for 2 to 3 minutes for it to heat up. Also, friendly words of advice, make sure to season them at least once a week, and don’t stack them above each other to avoid scratches.
In a nutshell, this set is the best budget choice I can think of, as it easily beats other high end cookware sets like the ones manufactured by Cuisinart and GreenPan. If you have spare money, go buy it!
